Despite what was told or disciplined, you felt that your understanding and way were right. This led to rebellion. The rebellion was an act to reclaim your life you felt you gave up.

 But as time passed and you grew older, you realized you stood apart from those rules in some way. It was the conviction of that feeling that drove the desire to continue exploring and experiencing life to its fullest.
